Healthcare has a major role in people's lives from birth onward. Persons working in healthcare are expected to have specific skills and training. But, as we move from childhood to adulthood, the expectations of the persons receiving the care becomes less clear.  Healthcare is a complex system filled with complex situations.  Effective healthcare is dependent on partnerships. One of the most critical partnerships is the one between healthcare givers and healthcare receivers. Healthcare works best when the partnership expectations are understood by all parties.

The human body has many parts, but the many parts make up one whole body. So it is with the body of Christ. Some of us are Jews, some are Gentiles, some are slaves, and some are free. But we have all been baptized into one body by one Spirit, and we all share the same Spirit. Yes, the body has many different parts, not just one part.

1 Corinthians 12:12-14  New Living Translation (NLT)

Hebrews 10 :23-26 New International Version (NIV)

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
